The dread is secured at the root in the same way as the braids, using the 'pinch braid' method, which means no chemicals, glues or treatments. As the synthetic dreads are tied in, this means that unlike natural dreads, they can be removed leaving your own hair intact and undamaged......perfect!

This style is very low maintenance. You can choose to have a re-steam after about 5-6 weeks to tighten the dreads, as they tend to relax after a while. This process takes no time at all and leaves your dreads looking like new!
